Kimono Craze

This is my official goodbye to California until December and I want to say thank you to all of the wonderful souls that have made this summer the best one I've had in a long time. The first few weeks at home I wore nothing but black cotton and leather, the summer goth vibes were intense. But theres something about California livin' that just makes me wanna flip my hair and traipse around in brighter colors!

Top Outfit: Tularosa tank, Jessica Fang necklace, MINKPINK Kimono
Bottom Outfit: Mumu crop top, Vintage pants, MINKPINK Kimono

I usually throw on a blazer or leather jacket to tie an outfit together but I've become a huge fan of throwing a printed kimono on instead. It's an instant outfit game changer, it adds a pop of interest and is light enough to wear often-especially in the heat of the summer.
Not afraid to say that I am completely cuckoo kimono crazy.

Your girl is constantly on the prowl to add to her ever-growing kimono collection. I wore my MINKPINK at least three times a week back in Cali and it's easily become one of my favorite kimonos.  I have a couple real floor length kimonos and though I do love them dearly, they're just too cumbersome to wear on a daily basis.  If you've never tried one on before, don't be intimidated by the crazy print or wizard sleeves. Trust me, they're crazy versatile! Just think of them as friendly summer replacements for your oversized blazer.

Also side note, I haven't updated in a couple of days because I've gone back to New York and have been completely swamped with finding a place to live. That being said, I'm officially moving to an amazing place in Brooklyn! You can bet that there will be plenty of apartment inspiration and a tour in the next few weeks on here and my instagram.
