SOUNDS | HEAVY ROTATION

I always like a little bit of the Viv Girls on my playlist but today I made some room for Kickball Katy's side project La Sera-- which has some of the same vibes as Vivian Girls but with a bit of Donna Lynn twang to it. The MV for 'Never Come Around' totally lets us in on her psycho ex-girlfriend side--which only makes her music that much better. Who doesn't wanna see Katy stabbing some douchebag's guts out and then cutting his head off?

 

Seapony is also a new addition (I'm a little late on Seattle bands c'mon) but they rule softly and sweetly, much like marshmallow peeps do.
