I bought an amazing felt hat (I'm wearing from the post below)
from a quirky vintage shop downtown called Community. I've never
actually found a hat that fits my head in such an appropriate fashion,
and I picked it up in the men's store! They're set up so that men's
and women's clothing is split between
two locations, just around the corner from each other.
I
swear I was in thrift heaven when I stepped in-- the store is decorated
with one of my favorite things... kitschy little knick knacks! Both
interiors were speckled with porcelain cats, vintage doilies, and
ancient sewing machines.
Here's a bit of thrifting advice: I always make sure to
sift through the men's section thorougly and to keep an eye out for rad
t-shirts and other cool things.
